Fun Everyday Activities!
The Fleet Science Center warmly invites the ASD community and their families to Autism Accessibility Mornings every third Saturday. Enjoy exclusive access to exhibits for an hour before the public, a dedicated cool-off space, and tickets for a special Imax film screening with lights on and sound lowered—a unique opportunity to explore the museum in a calm environment.
Discover a calming haven at the San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum during their Sensory Friendly Mornings—a serene environment designed for families with children with sensory needs. Access noise-canceling headphones or find solace in the designated Quiet Space for a brief respite. Sensory Friendly Mornings occur every Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and the first Sunday of every month from 9 to 10 a.m.
AMC proudly collaborates with the Autism Society to present special movie showings. During our Sensory Friendly Film program on the second and fourth Saturdays (family-friendly) and Wednesday evenings (mature audiences) each month, we brighten the lights and lower the sound, encouraging you to dance, walk, shout, or sing freely!
